Curtefranca Rosso DOC<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Name: Curtefranca<\/p>\n Variety: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 10% Nebbiolo, 10% Barbera<\/p>\n Altitude of vineyards: 150 m above sea level<\/p>\n Soil: Clayey Calcareous<\/p>\n Training system: Guyot, planted with 5,000 vines\/hectare<\/p>\n Harvest period: Last ten days of September with manual harvesting<\/p>\n Vinification: After destemming, the grapes are fermented in steel tanks. Fermentation on the skins lasts approximately 10 days, and during this period, the must is pumped over at regular intervals to aid in color extraction. Aged on the lees: 12 months in barriques<\/p>\n Tasting notes: Intense ruby red color. A very elegant wine. \nEach vineyard is vinified separately from the others and at the end of fermentation the wine is transferred into barriques where it rests for 12 months.
