Irene Guerrieri<\/p>\n THE KING'S CUCKOO In a small village just steps from the enchanting Val Dei Pendoli, there once lived a couple of watchmakers, Oreste and Min\u00f9. Oreste was short and chubby, like the hand that indicates the hours on a clock; his wife, Min\u00f9, was tall and thin, just like the minute hand. Thus begins the fairy tale which tells the origin of the cuckoo clock. THE CUCU OF THE KING Thus begins the fairy tale in which the origin of that cuckoo clock is told. <\/p>\n OUR COMPANY<\/p>\n It was founded in 1978 under the brand name "Arti e Mestieri" by Ambrogio Pirondini. In collaboration with his brother Giovanni, who studied architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan, after initially producing wooden items (boxes, containers, etc.) for local food companies, Arti & Mestieri expanded to the national and international markets under the brand name "Pirondini Italia," offering home furnishings and accessories. To create these new products, the company collaborated with numerous designers and artists, renowned both in Italy and abroad, including Riccardo Dalisi, Emilio Tadini, Andrea Branzi, Luca Scacchetti, Emanuele Luzzati, and others. The company is currently particularly focused on the production of table and wall clocks and cuckoo clocks.<\/p>\n

\nIrene Guerrieri, drawing inspiration from the story The King's Cuckoo by Fabio Fiorini, has designed 4 cuckoo clocks that appear as a small box with two doors that open like a theatrical stage onto which the story's protagonists appear:
\nTHE ROOSTER, THE MAGPIE, THE BLACKBIRD, THE CUCKOO
\nWith the doors open, the cuckoo sings cheerfully on the hour, but when the doors are closed, the cuckoo goes back to sleep.
\nThe package includes an illustrated leaflet with the entire story.
\nListening to the cuckoo and the reading of the illustrated fairy tale will be a joy for children and adults alike.
\nThe cuckoo clock, like all our cuckoo clocks, has a night sensor that silences it during the night or when the room in which it is placed is darkened.<\/p>\n
