The “King's Cuckoo” Collection
The “King's Cuckoo” Collection
In a small village just a stone's throw from the enchanting Val dei Pendoli, there once lived a couple of clockmakers, Oreste and Minù. Oreste was short and chubby, like the hand that indicates the hours on a clock; his wife, Minù, on the other hand, was tall and thin, just like the minute hand.
The two spent their days in their laboratory, transforming bizarre ideas into…
Thus begins the tale that tells the origins of the tale "The King's Cuckoo" by Fabio Fiorini. He designed four cuckoo clocks that look like small boxes with two doors that open like a theatrical stage onto which the story's protagonists appear: the ROOSTER, the MAGPIE, the BLACKBIRD, and the CUCKOO.
With the doors open, the cuckoo calls merrily on the hour, but when the doors are closed, the cuckoo goes back to sleep. Listening to the cuckoo and the illustrated story will be a joy for children and adults alike.
Note: All King's cuckoo clocks contain a fairy tale leaflet in the package.
The cuckoo clock has a night sensor that silences it during the night or when the room in which it is placed is darkened.
