Ferghettina Brut 375 cl.
Denomination: Franciacorta
Variety: 95% Chardonnay 5% Pinot Noir
Altitude of vineyards: 250 m above sea level
Soil: Clayey Calcareous
Training system: Guyot, planted with 5,000 vines/hectare
Harvest period: Mid-August with manual harvesting
Vinification: The grapes are pressed with a pneumatic press at very low pressure. During the vinification process
The musts are separated into two categories: free-run must, which has the best characteristics and is used for the production of Franciacorta, and second-pressing must, which is not intended for bottling.
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 16 and 18°C.
Each vineyard is vinified separately from the others and this division is maintained until the spring following the harvest when, after meticulous tasting, the wine from the different vineyards is assembled into a cuvée and bottled for the second fermentation.
Aged on the lees: 24 months
Tasting characteristics: Straw yellow colour, fine and persistent perlage in the mouth, it presents notes that range from
hazelnut with fragrances of sweet fruits and white flowers.
Very persistent and fresh.
