Description
LETTER C 2021 – VALTÈNESI DOC
LETTER C – VALTÈNESI DOC
LETTER C is the most innovative project that Pasini San Giovanni dedicates to the Valtènesi rosé wine, produced with adult Groppello Gentile vines and aged in small ceramic barrels (Clayver) with its fermentation kit.
LETTER C encompasses three generations and sixty-three years of company history. It is an open letter to Chiaretto. Its shape is a circle with a free stroke, oriented towards evolution and change. Valtènesi and its grapes provide the material and inspiration. Knowledge, the fermentation equipment, and ceramics lead the way. Chrono, time, provides the rest.
LETTERA C was born for the first time in the 2019 harvest, produced in only 1,040 0.75 l bottles.
Vintage: 2021
Content: 750 ml
Doc: VALTÈNESI
MINIMUM 3 BOTTLES OR MULTIPLES OF IT to choose from in the PASINI shop
OUR COMPANY
Founded by Andrea Pasini in 1958 and still family-run today, Pasini San Giovanni, now run by the third generation of winemakers, expresses the distinctive character of the Garda area in every bottle, thanks to its 36 hectares of estate-owned vineyards, spanning the Valtènesi and Lugana regions, on the Brescia shore of Lake Garda. Supported by a photovoltaic system since 2009 and a carbon footprint assessment project, the winery and the entire company management are increasingly moving closer to achieving full sustainability.
The company today has two names, one obviously linked to the Pasini family who created and has always run the company, the other linked to the local toponym where Cascina San Giovanni is located, called the San Giovanni area and linked to the church of San Giovanni located in Palude, a hamlet of Puegnago not far from Raffa.
